Russian army prepares a «gift» for Putin by May 9: Expert warns of serious threat

Russian forces have abandoned their plans regarding Pokrovsk in Donetsk region and now have a new goal they aim to achieve by May 9.

This was stated by military observer Denys Popovych during a broadcast on Radio NV.

According to him, «one could even say» that the occupying forces have currently abandoned their plans to encircle Pokrovsk and conduct assault operations toward the city.

«Now they want to reach the administrative borders with Dnipropetrovsk region in the Pokrovsk direction and preferably enter the territory of Dnipropetrovsk region. At least enter somewhere,» Popovich emphasized.
