The combat readiness of Russia’s main missile systems is at a very high level, with most capable of launching a strike within tens of seconds if ordered.

This was stated by Reserve Colonel Serhiy Stelmakh on the Espreso TV channel.

“When it comes to separate launch complexes, the readiness for launch is literally 30 seconds. This is a very high level of combat readiness,” he emphasized.

Stelmakh clarifies that this applies not only to mobile systems but also to stationary missile divisions deployed in designated areas on Russian territory.

“As for ground-based missile complexes, their combat readiness is slightly lower, but their technical condition is also very high. Regular inspections, routine, and seasonal maintenance are conducted,” the officer added.

Separately, Stelmakh commented on the situation with the new “Oreshnik” missile, which Russia allegedly used to strike Dnipro. According to him, assessing its combat effectiveness is difficult.

“This is not a civilian missile. It was stored in depots at Kapustin Yar, and for the launch, it was practically "assembled from scrap and sticks." So, it’s hard to comment on the technical condition of the "Oreshnik," but the rest of the systems on combat duty are in full readiness,” the colonel noted.
