Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy declares that Ukraine is ready for negotiations in any format and for a mirror response if Russia rejects a ceasefire.
He made this statement in an address on Telegram.
“Ukrainian forces are ready to respond in kind — to keep it fair. We have repeatedly heard from partners that they are ready to tighten sanctions against Russia if Putin refuses a ceasefire. We’ll see,” the President said.
Zelenskyy added that Ukraine has no issue engaging in negotiations and the authorities are open to any format.
