Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups (SRGs) are increasingly attempting to breach Ukraine’s border in Sumy region using all-terrain vehicles (ATVs).

This was reported by Andriy Demchenko, spokesperson for Ukraine’s State Border Guard Service, according to "Ukrinform".
“If we talk about Sumy region, the most active areas remain around the settlements of Basivka and Zhuravka, where the enemy is using the tactic of small assault groups. These groups attempt to cross the border and entrench themselves on Ukrainian territory to expand the zone of active combat,” said Demchenko.
According to him, enemy SRGs often use ATVs to exploit their speed advantage. Where possible, Russian units try to penetrate deeper into Ukrainian territory, where they await reinforcements from similar groups in an effort to further expand the combat zone.
Demchenko added that the enemy is not limiting its activity to the most active directions, but is also attempting to breach the border at other sectors.
