Natalia Humeniuk noted that the enemy missile carriers were already equipped and prepared, and the fact that they periodically enter the naval station might be a response to the weather conditions, such as storm.
The presence of the Russian ship grouping in the Black Sea may mean the continuation of reconnaissance and collection of information for preparation for possible missile strikes. as Natalia Humeniuk, he Head of Coordination Headquarters of Press Center of Ukrainian Southern Defence Forces, said during the national TV marathon
"The operational situation so far is quite stable, but this should not be reassuring, because we remember: the hybrid war continues, and, in particular, it includes the pressure in the information space. The presence of a group of ships in the Black Sea means that air reconnaissance, data collection and preparation for possible missile strikes are going on," Humeniuk said.
Humeniuk noted that the enemy missile carriers were already equipped and prepared, and the fact that they periodically enter the naval station might be a response to the weather conditions, such as storm.
She also speculated that the upcoming missile strikes were announced in order to intensify psychological pressure on the population. However, the threat of potential strikes is still a major concern.
"We honestly and frankly report how many missiles ready for launch these ships carry, and we warn that we have to be ready for a massive missile strikes, because this the Russian tactics of depleting our air defense capacities," Humeniuk said.
According to her, the invaders are now using nor only Iranian drones, but also Russian-produced "Lancet" drones. According to Humeniuk, this may indicate either that Russia has run out of supplies or that it changed its tactics. The use of drones also might have been affected by the weather conditions.
Humeniuk assumed that the absence of "Shaheds" may be related to the murder of Iranian instructors in Crimea who trained the Russian troops to launch drones.
On November 25th, the AFU Navy reported that Russia has 11 ships deployed in the Black Sea. However, there are not a single missile launcher among them.
