Russians continue to attack Ukraine's energy system: which regions are experiencing power outages
Occupiers in the Donetsk region have caused a power outage at a coal mine during shelling. Due to damages from the hostilities, a part of consumers in Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, and Chernihiv regions also remain without power supply.

As noted, the Russian occupiers continue to attack Ukraine's energy infrastructure in the frontline and border areas with Russia. On May 11, a coal mine was de-energized due to shelling in Donetsk region.

"At the same time, the energy industry, despite the difficult security situation, continues work on restoring energy supply. It was possible to restore electricity to 22,500 consumers within a day. Most of them are consumers in Zaporizhzhia, Sumy and Donetsk regions. The energy system works stably," the Ministry of Energy reported.
