Russians Destroy Kherson with Incendiary Shells: a Strike Was Witnessed by TSN Filming Crew
Enemy shells land right on the streets of the city.
Navigating through the streets of Kherson turned into a real struggle for survival for the locals. The invaders deployed on the left bank of the Dnipro daily barrage the city with tons of ammunition. Enemy shells land right in the residential neighborhoods.
One of such artillery strikes was personally witnessed by TSN filming crew.
Together with the locals TSN reporters quickly hides in the nearest building hall in one of the residential areas of the city. During one of the explosions, a passerby received a shrapnel wound. In fact, it is a miracle that there were no more casualties. Remnants of shells are sticking out of the asphalt. One of the buildings is still smoking even after rescuers poured several cubic meters of water on it.
This time, the invaders once again used incendiary shells against civilians. These ammunitions are specifically designed to cause fires.
Another house on one of the streets was turned uninhabitable after that strike. The explosion destroyed the roof and knocked out the walls. "We have to live here. I have a small child," says a resident of the house.
There are dozens of damaged, mangled or completely destroyed buildings in every district of the city. Kherson paramedics know the geography of the enemy's strikes almost by heart, since every day they rush to the scene of another explosion to save lives.
Vitalii Tokarev has been worked at the emergency room for over 20 years. According to him, the victims are mostly admitted with mine-blast injuries, stab wounds to the chest and abdomen, or torn limbs.
The medic had been helping people during the Russian rule as well. The invaders unsuccessfully tried to persuade the medical teams to cooperate, and even threatened them with death several times. "They said that we were sabotaging their assistance," he recalls.
Now the invaders are trying to make the life of Kherson residents unbearable for not accepting their crazy "Russian world". Still, despite the daily shelling and casualties, the citizens live in hope that the Russians will soon be driven away from the city.
