Spare parts from Ukraine's partner countries were found in downed Shahed drones.

This was stated by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, Oleksiy Danilov, on June 2 on the telethon "United News".

Answering the question of which countries are helping Russia not just to circumvent sanctions, but to increase the production of missiles and drones and whether Ukraine can put pressure on these countries, Danilov noted that, in his opinion, it is necessary to use the word "understand" rather than "pressure." He mentioned that they need to understand how it happens that Russia, which is under sanctions, can use certain parts from countries that are friendly to Ukraine and are its partners.

"We are dealing with this issue. This is not the first such case," noted the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council.
Danilov added that the NSDC understands the composition of various components of the 'Shahed' drones. "We have almost a complete 'Shahed' in our possession. 

Our military has repeatedly landed this iron abomination, which brings death to our citizens. They took it apart and, unfortunately, found parts there that are not produced either in Iran or in Russia. Now we will deal with this issue very carefully, contact the relevant institutions in order to put an end to it," he emphasized.

The Secretary of the NSDC mentioned that, regrettably, during the time when some were preparing for this war, certain parts of production from 2019, 2020, and 2021 were pre-purchased from companies. "But this, nevertheless, does not remove certain processes that are still under control and were reported at the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Staff meeting," he concluded.
