Sybiha called Blinken: what he said in farewell
The head of Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed hope that the new White House administration would continue supporting Ukraine.

On Sunday, January 19, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha spoke by phone with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who was on his last day as head of the State Department before the change in the White House administration.
Sybiha shared details of their conversation in a post on X.
According to Sybiha, in farewell, he thanked Antony Blinken "for his pivotal role at a turning point in history, which helped ensure Ukraine’s survival as an independent, free, and European nation."
At the same time, the head of Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry expressed hope that the new U.S. administration would continue supporting Ukraine.
“We value our strategic partnership and rely on the continued support of the new U.S. administration,” he wrote.
