Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrskyi, stated that the possibility of a new offensive from Belarus cannot be ruled out.

Syrskyi made this statement during a conversation with journalists.

He did not exclude the possibility that this could happen after the joint Russian-Belarusian military exercises named "West-2025" planned for September.

Syrskyi recalled that a similar scenario was implemented in February 2022, when, after the completion of joint exercises, Russian troops remained in Belarus and used its territory for a large-scale invasion.
