The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine uncovered a powerful Kremlin propaganda attack in the Middle East: what it hides

The aggressor state Russia has intensified its efforts to spread disinformation against Ukraine in the Middle East.

This was reported by Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.

The task of the Kremlin's next hybrid operation is to:

- justify the aggressive war.

- discredit Ukraine and Western countries.

- impose unacceptable conditions for negotiations.

- improve its own position in the region.

- achieve a reduction in the economic and political pressure that Moscow faces due to its aggression and the commitment of war crimes.

The Defence Intelligence noted that Russia has intensified the use of its agent network, propaganda tools and diplomatic missions to achieve these goals. For instance, employees of the Russian embassy in Egypt received instructions from the Kremlin to hold a series of meetings under diplomatic cover to spread disinformation about the war and conduct recruitment activities.

As part of the operation, Russians are also distributing propaganda materials to the embassies of other countries in Cairo, justifying the war against Ukraine.

The mentioned materials include two documents titled "On the Role of the West in the Conflict in Ukraine" and "On the Situation around Ukraine."

"These materials present Putin's version of Ukraine's history since the collapse of the Soviet Union, portraying terrorist-aggressive Russia as the victim. The key idea promoted by the Kremlin in the Middle East is the inevitability of the scenario it has imposed to end the war," the Defence Intelligence stated.

In this way, the Russians seek to deprive Ukraine of military aid from the West, cease fire from the Ukrainian Armed Forces, retain control over the occupied Ukrainian territories by Moscow, and promote other nonsense such as "perpetual non-aligned status", "denazification" and "demilitarization".
