The enemy bombards Mykolaiv with the prohibited cluster bombs and fires at civilians from planes
Mykolaiv region continues to resist the attacks - the enemy is firing at the regional centre and suburbs with long-range missiles, artillery and mines on a daily basis.
The russian occupants tend to fire the prohibited cluster bombs in the mentioned direction, using this weapon against both the military and civilians, according to TSN.
Nowadays, the Mykolaiv residents take all "good night" wishes quite literally. However, almost every time the occupants make the night not so good in fact. The shell hits just a metre from the civilian car, leaving a trail on the asphalt. "We saw a bright glow, the flames, looked out the window - it seemed like my car was hit. In short, they fire at a residential area. I don't understand how it is possible, it's just a residential area, and they still shoot us,” locals say.
In many apartments windows were shattered, broken glass cut through walls and doors. A fire broke out in one of the entrances. "It's horrible, as Kherson was captured, so they're firing at us from there," people say. They fire with cluster shells from there, to be exact. One of them landed near the house, but did not detonate. This kind of weapon is prohibited, and is evidence of the crimes committed by the russians.
In the neighbouring area, the consequences of another russian war crime can be witnessed. Two enemy planes entered the private sector in the south of the city and opened fire at civilians' houses. A mother and daughter were killed by the russian pilots in one of the apartments. Neighbours say they flew so low that the killers' faces could be seen. "White smoke, explosions everywhere, we hid in the basement. As soon as we came out, we saw no roof, no fence. Two people were killed here, in broad daylight, at low altitude - it was clear that only civilians live here," locals say.
Civilians also lived in the nearby three-story buildings. The russians made them uninhabitable after the firing. Villages, south of Mykolaiv, suffer from enemy strikes the most. Up to 80% had to leave their home, and the enemy made artillery targets out of well-groomed flowery yards. "We have an area of active offense now where our shops once located. One shop is left out of our dozen and a half, the public transport does not function - we cannot go anywhere," people say.
Some landscapes of this picturesque place in the south of Mykolaiv region captivate and terrify at the same time. In one of the villages, russists opened fire at a cemetery. The russian missile became a bizarre monument, stuck on a hill over the Southern Bug river - a monument to the "russkiy mir" (“russian world”) that has not happened and will never happen on this land.
