In January 2025, Kharkiv was relatively calm, but the enemy changed its tactics. It attacked the city mainly with drones. Although the shelling was not as massive as before, it still inflicted significant damage on Kharkiv residents.
Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported this on Telegram.
"We all felt that January was relatively calm. The enemy changed tactics and attacked the city less frequently and mainly with drones. It might seem that the shelling was not as massive as before, but even that was enough to cause considerable damage to Kharkiv residents," he wrote.
According to him, 47 residential buildings were damaged in Kharkiv last month, with 144 apartment windows and 19 entrance windows shattered. All damages have already been covered. Additionally, nine roofs have been repaired. After each strike, utility workers, emergency services, and rescuers arrived at the scene. In total, up to 112 specialists and 28 units of equipment were involved in January.
