The invaders shelled Avdiivka: two people were wounded

The Russian occupiers shelled Avdiivka with artillery. As a result, a man and a woman were wounded in the private sector of the city.

This was reported by “Suspilne” with reference to the Spokesperson of the Prosecutor's Office of Donetsk region, Anastasia Medvedeva.

"Today, at 11:45, the Russian army once again attacked Avdiivka. According to preliminary information, the occupiers used artillery against the civilian population. An 86-year-old homeowner and his 52-year-old acquaintance, who was taking care of him, were injured when shells hit the territory of the private household. At the time of the shelling, the victims were in the yard," the spokesperson said.

The Prosecutor's Office reported that a man with multiple shrapnel wounds and a woman with broken bones were taken to a medical facility.

The shelling is being investigated as a violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
