The NSDC made an alarming forecast regarding shelling of the energy sector in winter

With the start of the heating season, Russia may resume massive strikes on critical infrastructure. Ukraine is preparing for shelling of the energy sector.

This was stated by Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, Oleksandr Lytvynenko, at the opening of the exhibition "Energy in Industry-2024."

"With the start of the heating season, we can expect massive Russian strikes on the energy sector," he noted.

However, the Ukrainian energy sector is prepared for the challenges. According to Lytvynenko, it has already demonstrated its ability to implement innovative solutions and recover after enemy attacks.

"Despite everything, the enemy's intentions to destroy Ukraine's economy are not being achieved," the NSDC Secretary concluded.
