The Russians are trying to seize Kupiansk-Vuzlovy
Russian occupying forces are trying to seize Kupyansk-Vuzlovy - a strategically important railway junction in the Kupiansk direction.
This was reported by Commander of the Intelligence Unit of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Denys Yaroslavsky, on “Radio Svoboda”.
He noted that attempts of the assaults do not stop.
"The enemy is trying to storm us around the clock. They are trying to recapture Kupyansk-Vuzlovy, which is a really strategic railway junction. They are trying to seize it and are inflicting damage on river crossings and all objects that could potentially cut us off from Kupiansk-Vuzlovy," he said.
According to him, the main goal of the occupiers is to encircle Kupiansk. At the same time, the enemy army is suffering heavy losses.
"We don't feel that the number of the enemy is decreasing. We know that they will attempt renewed assaults in the near future. The situation is very difficult," the Commander added.
