After the liberation of the aggregate plant in Vovchansk, Kharkiv region, it has become the number one target for the occupiers.
Vitaliy Sarantsev, Spokesman for the Operational Tactical Group of Troops "Kharkiv" said this on the air of Suspilne on September 30.
According to him, the enemy is attacking the plant with all available weaponry, including heavy flamethrower systems.
"They also dropped aerial bombs. This facility remains under our control. Of course, we are taking all necessary safety measures to avoid losses of personnel and equipment. We understand the importance of this facility to the Russian occupiers, who will continue to try to reach it by all means," he emphasized.
Sarantsev explains that the liberation of the aggregate plant has expanded the zone of control for the Defense Forces in the city.
"This has allowed us to carry out certain logistics activities more actively. Naturally, this has had a psychological effect on the enemy, which is demoralized. We are currently observing refusals from their personnel to carry out tasks. This is also related to the fact that the enemy's personnel are not equipped with first-aid kits and means of protection," he added.
The spokesperson for the Operational Tactical Group says that the enemy is trying to bring in new units and conduct internal rotations.
