The occupiers hit the dormitory district of Kharkiv: the prosecutor's office reported about 10 dead, a case has been opened

On the 15th of April the Kharkiv regional prosecutor's office has launched a pre-trial investigation into the violation of laws and customs of war involving premeditated murder after Russian forces shelled Kharkiv's Industrialnyy district, reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General.

According to the investigation, around 16:30, Russians shelled Kharkiv's Industrialnyy district  using “Hurricane” multiple rocket launchers.  

At least 10 civilians were killed, including a 7-month-old baby. Another 35 people were wounded. In addition, a number of residential buildings were damaged and destroyed.

A pre-trial investigation into the criminal case is being carried out by the SBU office in Kharkiv Region.

50 people were injured as a result of the enemy strike, the director of the health department of the Kharkiv regional military administration, Maksim Haustov, reported.

The Head of the Regional Military Administration Oleh Synyehubov urged Kharkiv residents not to go outside without extreme necessity.
