Warfare in Mariupol is Raging Ferocious, Invaders Are Getting Ready to Assault Azovstal – the Mayor’s Adviser

The combat operations in Mariupol are getting more and more fierce, while the Russian troops are getting ready to assault the marine port and Azovstal plant, as Petro Andriushenko, the Mayor’s Adviser reports.

"Warfare is raging ferocious. The invaders are throwing all available forces to assault the city. The recent appearance of TU bombers jets indicates the enemy intentions to assault the Azovstal plant and the port after dropping high-powered aircraft bombs like FAB-3000 or other. All the evidence now suggests that they cannot capture the city without escalating to even higher level of cruelty and use of mass extermination weapons”, the Adviser to the Mayor of Mariupol emphasized.

The city, which is now 95% destroyed has been besieged by the Russian troops since March 1st, however the invaders consistently fail to secure it. Previously, it was reported that Russians attempted to take the census in order to “clean out politically unreliable individuals”.
