The main target of the Russian occupying army in Donetsk region, following the unsuccessful offensive on Kharkiv, remains the city of Pokrovsk.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated this in an interview with French media.
According to him, the Russians are currently concentrating the largest amount of personnel, weapons and guided aerial bombs in the Pokrovsk direction. Additionally, the Russian army plans attacks on Kostiantynivka, Toretsk and Sloviansk.
"Their main direction is not the entire East, although Sloviansk is no exception. But Pokrovsk, I would say, is their priority at the moment. The Pokrovsk direction and the city of Pokrovsk. Of course, there is also Kostiantynivka. Yes, they are also aiming at Toretsk. They also have plans regarding Sloviansk. But these are all plans. They are currently focusing the largest amount of personnel, the largest amount of weapons and guided aerial bombs, everything they have, on the Pokrovsk direction," the Head of State stressed.
