The situation in the south of Ukraine remains quite tense. The Russian occupiers do not stop their active actions and try to dislodge the Ukrainian military from their positions.

Natalia Humeniuk, Head of the Joint Press Center of the Defense Forces of South of Ukraine, told "24 Kanal" about this.

"When talking about the area of the battlefield on land, directly where positions are against positions, there are ongoing assaults, testing of our strength and attempts to dislodge us from these positions in the Zaporizhzhia direction continues," Humeniuk says.

According to her, it is not easy for the Defense Forces to hold their positions. The situation with the fluctuation of the front line is very difficult. However, it is not critical.

"There are very large open territories where it is impossible to measure by the meter how much one side or the other has advanced. Occupying positions that provide security to personnel is a priority," the representative of the Ukrainian Armed Forces declares.

In the direction of Krynky, located in Kherson region, the occupiers continue their attempts to storm the positions of the Defense Forces. The Russians even do so when it is difficult to gather personnel for this purpose.

"At least one attempt per day, but they try to maintain such an intensity. At this stage, we continue to hold our positions and work on expanding the bridgehead," the Head of the Joint Press Center of the Operational Command "South".
