Russian occupying forces continue their offensive on Avdiivka. There, the occupiers launched the third assault wave.
This opinion was expressed by military expert Roman Svitan.
According to him, the new wave is evidenced by the fact, that the black soils of Donbas region absorb Russian equipment like liquid concrete.
"The third wave. It has started, it's been going on for at least a week. It's already clear, the question lies in the involvement of equipment," he noted.
"Meanwhile, the occupiers are facing problems in mobilizing reserves there due to the rainy season.
"This is the Donbas; there's over half a meter of black soil in a wet state - it's practically like liquid concrete, which will not pass the equipment in any form," the expert clarified.
Therefore, the occupiers have adopted a new tactic for themselves – “so-called assaults.”
"This is when military equipment covers the infantry from a long distance or from hard-surface roads. However, more often, artillery enters the battle instead of wheeled vehicles. It covers the infantry that performs certain offensive actions," the expert noted.
