The Russians struck energy facilities in Sumy region: thousands left without power
Emergency restoration work is underway after the attack on the Hlukhiv community.

On the night of August 20, Russian forces launched a missile strike on energy facilities in the Hlukhiv community of Sumy region.
This was reported by the Sumy Regional Military Administration.
As a result of the attack on the energy facilities in the Hlukhiv community, 72 settlements were left without power, affecting over 18,500 subscribers.
"Emergency restoration work is currently underway. Power supply has already been restored to part of the critical infrastructure facilities and residential areas of the community. We thank our energy workers for their coordinated and professional actions," the Regional Military Administration's statement said.
