During meetings with U.S. officials, the Ukrainian delegation increasingly hears that joining NATO is the only way to end the war in Ukraine.
David Arakhamia, head of the parliamentary faction "Servants of the People", who is an active participant in such meetings, said this on the air of the national telethon.
According to him, every 2-3 months, the Ukrainian delegation has many meetings at all levels — in Congress, the Senate and the White House.
"In 2022, when we came and said "let's admit Ukraine to NATO," they looked at us like we were crazy, slightly mad from the war in our country. Now, the prevailing narrative is that NATO is the only way to end the war in Ukraine. So, the path to peace goes through NATO. And this is very, very encouraging for us," he said.
