The United States presented a draft resolution on "Regarding the position of the House of Representatives on the conditions of Ukraine's victory."
On April 25, on Capitol Hill, a bipartisan draft resolution of the US House of Representatives was ceremoniously presented, "Regarding the position of the House of Representatives on the conditions of Ukraine's victory."
This was reported by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the USA, Oksana Markarova.
Thus, the draft resolution notes that the US House of Representatives confirms that the policy of the United States is for Ukraine to defeat the invasion of Russia and restore its internationally recognized borders of 1991.
In addition, the USA believes that peace after the Victory of Ukraine "must be ensured by the integration of Ukraine into NATO and other Euro-Atlantic institutions", which corresponds to the long-term policy of the United States.
The draft resolution also states that the United States should work with its allies and partners to ensure:
Reparations are paid to Ukraine by Russia
Assistance from the global community in the reconstruction of Ukraine
Holding the Russian leadership accountable for this aggressive war
Restoring justice for the victims of crimes committed by Russia during its invasion.
"We are grateful to all our partners and friends in Congress for their leadership in consolidating assistance to Ukraine and bipartisan vision of our common victory!", Markarova added.
