"This will be Mariupol number two": A volunteer describes situation in Kherson

Today, the Russian army is turning Kherson into "Mariupol number two."

Volunteer Viktor shared this in an exclusive report by TSN.ua journalists Alina Turyshyn and Viktoria Hnatyuk.

The man showed how Kherson lives today and the pile of ammunition with which the enemy bombards the city daily. In his opinion, the situation in Kherson will only worsen as the enemy erases it from the face of the earth, just like other Ukrainian cities, especially in Donetsk region.

"This entire area is extremely dangerous because this sector is practically destroyed. Everything here is destroyed. And the situation in Kherson will only get worse and worse… This will be Mariupol number two, and it is already becoming Mariupol number two, just like other cities in Donetsk region. The Russians are wiping everything off the face of the earth. They did not come to liberate us. They came to kill and destroy. Education, healthcare, sports – they are destroying everything, Ukrainian culture. But we are a nation of the unbowed, so we will fight," Viktor said.
