Ukraine is being pushed to the negotiating table on Russia's terms – Danilov

Currently, there is a massive campaign in the world to push Ukraine to the negotiating table on Russia's terms.

This was stated by Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, during a telethon on Thursday, May 11.

According to him, some representatives of certain countries "actively got involved in this situation".

"Now there is simply such an escalation of the situation in order to get us to the negotiating table on Russia's terms as soon as possible. Now a very big campaign has been launched in this regard. Now there are a lot of proposals from different countries in this regard," the official said.

Danilov emphasized that if Kyiv sits down at the negotiating table with the aggressor country, it will be only on Ukraine's terms.

"But keep in mind, I am more than sure that if we talk about something and the President makes such a decision, it will be only on the terms of our country," he stressed.
