Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has rejected Russian accusations that Ukraine is behind an alleged drone attack on the Kremlin last week. He believes that the Russian Federation itself is involved in the operation.
The Head of State said this in an interview for BBC News.
He responded to the journalist that this attack could have been a "false flag" operation carried out by Russia itself. In his opinion, by blaming Ukraine for the attack, the Kremlin is using it as a justification for Moscow's aggression against the country.
"They are constantly looking for something as an excuse, saying: 'You do this to us, and we do this to you.' But it didn't work. Not even for the domestic public - it didn't work. Even their own propagandists didn't believe it. Because it looked very, very artificial," the leader of Ukraine said.
