Ukraine Is Getting Ready for a Counteroffensive Operation: Known Details

After a series of unofficial news reports about a possible counteroffensive in the spring, government sources commented on this information to TSN.ua.

"We are preparing for it, our military is training abroad. All the equipment that we know about is not for deterrence, it is for the offensive," the sources said. "When exactly it will take place is a question for the General Staff. The Leopard tanks that are already in Ukraine - according to the decision of the General Staff, they will be used in the counteroffensive operation. They will be used in ready-made military units, but this will be decided by Valerii Zaluzhnyi. Tanks are supplied to us to ensure our victory. We will have a tank division. Our Western partners believed in us, so they are giving us all kinds of weapons - not just tanks - for the counteroffensive operation. They have already invested so much that they will definitely not withdraw. The visit of Mr. Biden is a very important indication that they, our partners, are committed to our victory", the source added.
