Ukraine is preparing a set of measures to protect the F-16 at airfields – Yevlash

Spokesman of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Ilya Yevlash says that Ukraine is preparing a set of measures to protect the F-16 fighter jets when they will be at the airfields in our country.

Yevlash told about this on the air of the telethon.

According to Yevlash, there is already a series of preparations on how to safely accommodate the F-16s in Ukraine, enabling them to effectively carry out their missions and defend the airspace.

"But for this, it's necessary to properly prepare the base for them. It involves colossal costs, including underground shelters, bunkers. Therefore, methods are currently being developed on how exactly they can be accommodated," explained Yevlash.

The spokesperson for the Air Force noted that after Ukraine receives the F-16s, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be able to conduct various operations to repel Russian airstrikes and inflict damage on the enemy.

The F-16 fighter jets, in particular, will be dispersed across different types of airstrips, making it difficult for the Russians to detect Ukrainian aircraft. Various methods will be employed to deceive the enemy.
