Ukraine is ready for an "all for all" prisoner exchange" – Zelenskyy

Ukraine must be part of negotiations with Russia alongside Europe and America so that peace does not become just promises of normalization or a reset.

This was stated by President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, during the "Support Ukraine" summit with the participation of world leaders.

"It is impossible to decide without Europe – Ukraine, Europe together with America. We must be at the negotiating table opposite Russia so that the necessity for peace is not once again covered by promises of normalization, a reset, or reconciliation. Secondly, ending the war must begin with steps that restore trust in the situation itself. Because there is no trust in Russia. And we need steps that speak about ending the war," he said.

According to him, a step towards ending the war could be the release of thousands of prisoners on both sides.

"And now such a step could be the release of prisoners – thousands, precisely thousands of people who are held in Russia. And some of them are not only from 2022 but much earlier – since 2014. Russia must release the Ukrainians. Ukraine is ready for an "all for all" exchange, and this is a fair option," he said.
