Captured Chinese citizens may be exchanged
Ukraine is ready to exchange Chinese citizens who fought for Russia and were captured by Ukrainian forces. The only option is an exchange for Ukrainian soldiers.
This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a conversation with journalists.
According to him, the Ukrainian side has already transmitted information about its readiness for the exchange.
“Someone said yesterday that there were rumors we’re ready to exchange Chinese fighters for some deals or talks with China’s leader. I’d like to say that these are completely unserious signals because we only exchange any prisoners for Ukrainian soldiers,” the Ukrainian President emphasized.
