The statement by the Alliance official regarding Ukraine's accession to NATO in exchange for the abandonment of part of our territories is a provocation that is made to test the nerves of Ukrainians.
This was stated by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, Oleksiy Danilov, on the air of the telethon, August 15.
"When someone somewhere begins to give us advice sitting on sofas, in warm chairs of the European Union or some other institutions - I want to note that no country after the Second World War has undergone such trials. Today, yet another figure made a statement regarding our lands, quite a strange one, in my opinion... A NATO clerk t who suggests that we should consider surrendering our territories in exchange for membership in the Alliance. A strange proposal, absolutely unclear why it's being made. Is it to test our nerves? That's unnecessary. We are in a good condition, starting from February 24 of the year 2022," emphasized Danilov.
