Ukraine’s losses from Russian invasion have reached 565 billion dollars

General losses are evaluated in $564,9  billion.

First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko reported.

Authorities use at least two calculation methods. The first one evaluated losses from direct ruining. The second counts general losses from warfare. Including economic fall, unemployment increase, trading block, etc.

Now there is such structure of losses:

• $119 billion – infrastructure losses (ruined roads, railway stations. Airports)

• $112 billion – GDP losses in 2022

• $90,5 billion — civilians’ property losses (10 millions of square meters of homes, 200 thousands of private cars, etc.)

• $80 billion — enterprises and business losses;

• $54 billion — losses of direct investments into Ukrainian economy;

• $48 billion — state budget losses.

These numbers increase daily. That is why Ukraine will demand compensations from aggressor. Through court decisions and transferring of frozen Russian actives to Ukraine, Sviridenko underlined.

Meanwhile President’s advisor Oleg Ustenko has told that Russia who cynically attacked Ukraine will pay contributions and reparations for years. Though Russian arrested money may be not enough to restore Ukraine.
