Ukraine currently has a very poor negotiating position because first, it is necessary to liberate the territories, and only then initiate talks with the aggressor country.

Ukraine is not planning to sit at the negotiating table with Russia considering the situation on the front.
This was stated by Head of the “Servant of the People” faction in the Verkhovna Rada, Davyd Arakhamia, in an interview with Natalia Moseychuk as part of the “Moseychuk+” author's project.
"Right now, I believe that the entire leadership of Ukraine, both political and military, is focused on waging war. Why? Because currently, we cannot sit down for negotiations; our negotiating position is very weak. What would we sit down for now - for the situation where we are at? 'Let's just finish?' Do you think Ukrainian society would accept that?" - Davyd Arakhamia said.
He stated that all decisions of this scale should be made through referendums.
"If there is an organic conclusion, like in Korea where nothing was signed – then maybe. But if someone starts signing something, and then it needs to be ratified in parliament – the parliament will just tear each other apart. There will be extremely polarized views," Arakhamia suggested.
