Ukraine Will Return Crimea in the Way It Decides – Zelenskyi

At the same time, in his speech at the press-conference after the second Crimean Platform summit on August 23rd, Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that our army does not strike at civilian objects and the population.

"We will return Crimea, because it is our territory. In any way we decide. We will decide it on our own, without consulting any other state", Volodymyr Zelenskyi stated.

According to him, Ukrainian troops will carry out the strikes in Crimea according to the plan.

"As for open attacks, Ukraine will never carry out any strikes against civilian population both at the territory of any foreign states and at its own territory. Crimea is the temporarily seized territory of Ukraine. We know what we are doing, we know the locations of military facilities and warehouses in the temporarily occupied territories. The Ukrainian troops can work there according to the plan", he stressed.
