Ukrainian Armed Forces report the complication of the situation in the Kharkiv direction

The operational situation in the Kharkiv direction has worsened, with Russian forces increasing their activity. The Defense Forces of Ukraine are holding back the enemy's offensive.

This was reported by the Operational and Tactical Group "Kharkiv."

"The operational situation in the Kharkiv direction has complicated and is characterized by an increase in enemy activity. The Defense Forces of Ukraine are resisting the onslaught of Russian occupation troops," the statement says.

In the vicinity of Hlyboke, the enemy continues to actively set up minefields.

In the area of Lukyantsi, the Russians are consolidating their positions with the 380th Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 47th Tank Division of the 1st Tank Army. At the same time, there are instances of personnel from the regiment leaving their positions without permission.

In Vovchansk, the occupiers attempted to storm the positions of Ukrainian troops more than 10 times over the past day. The enemy suffered losses in personnel and equipment and retreated. Currently, the Russians are conducting isolated movements of personnel to evacuate losses and reinforce their ranks.

Over the past day, there were 16 combat engagements. The Russian army launched an airstrike using one guided aerial bomb and carried out 56 strikes with kamikaze drones. The enemy also shelled the positions of Ukrainian troops 418 times.
