We will not allow Russia to drag out the war: Zelenskyy told about help from allies

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy traditionally addressed Ukrainians on April 30 and talked about the main events of the past day.

Conversation with Macron

President Zelenskyy held talks with his French colleague Emmanuel Macron. According to the Head of State, they were "as always, lengthy and substantive."

"We are coordinating our positions to give even more strength to our soldiers and to speed up the end of the war with our victory. I am grateful to France and personally to Emmanuel for supporting our state and our people. Now, in this conversation, the President confirmed for Ukraine the supply of exactly what I asked for in our previous conversation. Speed and specificity of response are very important, as they significantly enhance our capabilities. Thank you for this package of weapons," said Zelenskyy.

Sanctions

The President called on the international community to constantly send signals to Russia that the world will not forgive any of the manifestations of Russian terror.

"And for as many global players as possible to be absolutely principled in complying with the regime of sanctions against Russia for terror," he said.

Zelensky thanked everyone in the world who helps to strengthen the isolation of the Russian Federation and stop any supply of weapons and their components there, who works to block Russia's military-industrial complex and to strengthen the defense capabilities of all of Europe.

He especially thanked:

• Denmark - for self-propelled guns "Caesar";

• Slovenia - for armored vehicles;

• Spain - for tanks;

• Germany - for additional defense intentions regarding armored vehicles and shells, for air defense;

• The United States - for financing in the amount of 1 billion 250 million dollars to support our budget;

• The Netherlands - for the parliament's decision to train Ukrainian soldiers on advanced Western systems;

• Italy - for activity for the sake of faster reconstruction of Ukraine;

• Croatia - for new help in the treatment of our defenders after injuries.

"Only in maximum unity, maintaining maximum principledness to defend our common values, and as quickly as possible fulfilling defense agreements - all together in Ukraine, in Europe, and in the world - we can prevent Russia from prolonging the war and restore a normal fair peace," Zelenskyy concluded.
