The Ukrainian army reports no movement of equipment or personnel near the Belarusian border. Ukraine's Defense Forces maintain full control of the border situation.

This was stated by Andriy Demchenko, Spokesman for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, on the air of the telethon on September 8.

At the same time, Belarus remains under Russian influence, meaning this direction continues to pose a threat to Ukraine.

He added that the Defense Forces must be prepared for any developments, which is why the fortification of engineering lines and defensive structures continues.

"Of course, we hope that Belarus enough common sense not to succumb to Russian influence. We understand that the terrorist state Russia would like Belarus to be more involved in the war and provoke incidents at the border, but we are ready to repel any attacks," Demchenko emphasized.

According to Demchenko, military exercises are ongoing in Belarus, but there are no noticeable movements of troops or equipment near the border.

He reiterated that the Defense Forces are controlling the situation.
