Where North Korean soldiers sent to help Putin might fight: an expert named likely directions
The North Korean dictator may have sent a number of low-value soldiers to support the Russian army, who could be used for "meat-grinder" assaults, if needed.

It is in North Korea's interest to send its soldiers to Ukraine to witness firsthand the realities of modern warfare and prepare its army for potential conflict with South Korea.
This was explained by journalist, public activist, and aerial reconnaissance expert of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ihor Lutsenko, in an interview with "KYIV24."
"If North Korea is willing to send large quantities of weapons - enough to kill nearly all Ukrainians - why wouldn't they send soldiers too? I believe it's in North Korea’s interest to expose its military to the realities of modern warfare to train its soldiers and strengthen its army, potentially making it stronger than South Korea’s," Lutsenko said.
In his opinion, it would be more beneficial for the North Korean dictator to involve his military in areas where robotic, unmanned systems, and electronic warfare (EW) tools are used, as these define modern warfare. At the same time, Lutsenko doesn’t rule out that the dictator could send a number of expendable soldiers to support the Russian army in "meat-grinder" assaults.
"I believe the two most likely points of their appearance on the front are Kursk region and the Donbas, around Pokrovsk, Kurakhove or other directions where attacks are taking place. These areas have the highest concentration of technologies that would interest the North Koreans. They need to observe maneuver warfare, which is happening in Kursk region, as well as the tactical and positional warfare that mostly takes place in the Donbas. If I were a North Korean specialist, I would focus on these two theaters of war," Ihor Lutsenko said.
