In his speech, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi called on Ramstein participants to speed up the supply of weapons to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. After all, time and prolongation of the war play into the hands of the Russian inavders.
"Time remains Russian weapon. We must accelerate," the President emphasized.
Zelenskyi added that the Kremlin "must lose" and the war would decide "what kind of world we will live in." He called on his partners to make decisions that would deprive Moscow of power.
" You are strong people of powerful countries. I encourage you to make such decisions that can deprive Russian evil of any power... It is in your power to guarantee such artillery and anti-aircraft defense that will crush terror. It is in your power to make the victory.," he said.
According to the Head of State, he is very grateful for the assistance, but Ukraine is still waiting for tanks: "Hundreds of "thank you” are not hundreds of tanks. All of us can use thousands of words in discussions, but I cannot put words instead of guns that are needed against Russian artillery, or instead of the anti-aircraft missiles that are needed to protect people from Russian airstrikes".
