Zelenskyy and Syrskyi discussed the situation on the front: what is known

The Kurakhove and Pokrovsk areas remain the most difficult. At the same time, there have been successes by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Zaporizhzhia direction.

This was written by Supreme Commander-in-Chief of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

"I am grateful to every unit that destroys the occupier and holds back Russia's advance," he noted.

As Zelenskyy emphasizes, there are good defensive results in the Zaporizhzhia direction.

"We discussed with the Commander-in-Chief the actions of our units in the areas of the Kursk operation. We continue to inflict significant losses on Russia on its territory," the Ukrainian leader said.

It is also important that recently appointed persons are already starting to carry out their tasks: Commander of the Ground Forces Mykhailo Drapatyi and Deputy Commander-in-Chief Oleh Apostol.

"We expect effectiveness from their service in their new positions, and this will directly impact the increase in the combat readiness of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," Zelenskyy said.
