The Head of State emphasized the need for partners' decisiveness and the necessary means to stop Russian aerial terror.
On September 6, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived at the Ramstein Air Base in Germany to participate in the meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group.
The President announced this on the Internet.
Arriving at Ramstein, Zelenskyy announced work with partners for the strength of Ukraine.
"We need the decisiveness of our partners and the necessary tools to stop Russian aerial terror. All the weapons from the already announced support packages must finally reach the combat brigades. We also need strong long-range solutions from our partners to bring closer the just peace we seek," the President said.
He also mentioned that he would attend the group's meeting and meet with U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius. Separately, Zelenskyy will hold talks with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
Afterward, the President will travel to Italy for the Ambrosetti International Economic Forum, where he will meet with representatives of Italian businesses. Additionally, Zelenskyy has scheduled talks with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
"We are coordinating positions with all G7 allies," the Ukrainian President concluded.
