Russian forces attacked Lviv region with three "Shahed" drones during the night of September 6. All of them were shot down by air defense forces, but the wreckage of the downed drones caused damage.
This was reported by Head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi.
During the two air alerts announced at night in Lviv region, the enemy attacked the region with three attack drones. All of them were neutralized by air defense.
Around 03:15 a.m. the wreckage of a "Shahed" fell in the industrial zone in Lviv district. Four trucks caught fire. Firefighters quickly arrived at the scene and extinguished the fire within an hour and a half. The vehicles are beyond repair.
"Thirty-two firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze, using six pieces of specialized equipment. Thank you for preventing the fire from spreading. Most importantly, there were no casualties or injuries. All life support systems in the region are functioning normally," Kozytskyi stated.
