Zelenskyy unveiled Putin's plans for fracturing Europe, urging unity, a "drone wall," and fresh sanctions against Russia.

Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy warned that Russia is seeking to split Europe and called for collective action, including building a "drone wall" and ramping up sanctions.
The Head of State made these remarks during the plenary session of the European Political Community Summit in Copenhagen.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy asserted that Russia's goal is to fracture European solidarity by sowing discord and blocking joint decisions.
"Russia's strategy today is to divide Europe. But we must do the opposite of what Russia expects from us. We have to act together, strongly," the President stressed.
He urged European nations to pool their efforts in countering aggression and bolstering security.
Zelenskyy proposed developing a robust anti-drone system to safeguard all of Europe.
"Our troops, already in Denmark, are sharing their experience in destroying strike drones. This is the first step toward an effective defense framework," he noted.
The President highlighted the need for rapid response forces capable of actively countering threats and called for integrating these initiatives into the PURL program, which already strengthens defense ties between Europe and the US.
Zelenskyy emphasized that Russia's war against Ukraine remains the root of these issues and called for intensified pressure on the aggressor.
"We must roll out the 19th sanctions package against Russia. We know exactly what steps are required," he declared.
He also backed the US President's call to halt Russian oil purchases in Europe, paying special attention to Hungary's stance. In his view, resources from the US and other partners can offset any shortfall in the European market.
