Zelenskyy has arrived in the USA: who he will meet with and what they will discuss

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has arrived in the USA. The plane with the head of state landed at the New York airport.

This was reported by the President in Telegram.

"Immediately from the airport, he went to Ukrainian soldiers who are in the United States for medical treatment and rehabilitation.

"First and foremost, support for our people and gratitude to those who help Ukraine and Ukrainians," Zelenskyy added.

The President has a busy and important schedule of events and meetings planned. Zelenskyy will visit the United Nations General Assembly, the Sustainable Development Goals Summit, and the Security Council.

According to him, significant bilateral meetings will take place.

"The territorial integrity of the state is a key principle of all basic international documents, in particular the UN Charter. And it must be restored to its full force, destroyed by the Russian invasion, and the UN's ability to stop and prevent aggression should be increased. Ukraine will make a clear proposal in this regard to the UN members," he said.

In Washington, Zelenskyy will meet with U.S. President Joe Biden, leaders of Congress and parties, and military leadership.

"I will meet with American businesses, journalists, and the community. I will express gratitude for the leadership of the United States in supporting our fight for freedom and independence," Zelenskyy announced.
