Zelenskyy held talks with Irish leader: What they agreed upon
In addition to steps to end the war, the leaders discussed Ireland’s involvement in demining coalitions and EU training missions.

On Thursday, February 27, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Ireland’s Prime Minister Micheál Martin in Ireland. The meeting focused on steps to bring an end to the war and secure peace for Ukraine and Europe as a whole.
Zelenskyy shared the details in his Telegram channel.
"Ukraine appreciates the help and support from the Irish people and government, everything provided to strengthen our defense against Russian terror," the President said.
He added that the meeting also addressed the importance of unity between Ukraine, Europe, and the U.S. – "everyone who cares about peace in the international order on this path." The discussion also touched on security guarantees and cooperation as Ukraine moves closer to EU membership.
"We are grateful to Ireland for its support on all of these tracks. We specifically talked about Ireland’s involvement in the demining coalition and EU training missions, as well as non-lethal security support to help save lives. We also discussed our humanitarian program, Food from Ukraine, and how Ireland can contribute," the President emphasized.
