Zelenskyy met with Macron in Poland: Topics of discussion
During the negotiations, opportunities for enhancing Ukraine’s defense capabilities with France’s support were discussed.

Following the ceremony dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp, a meeting took place in Poland between the Presidents of Ukraine and France.
This was reported on the official website of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed gratitude to Emmanuel Macron for the assistance France has provided to Ukraine since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion. The total amount of France’s defense support has exceeded €6 billion.
During the negotiations, they discussed opportunities to enhance Ukraine’s defense capabilities with France’s support, which would strengthen the country’s position in achieving a lasting and just peace.
Another key topic was security cooperation, including formats for security guarantees both for Ukraine and the entire European region.
Additionally, Zelenskyy emphasized that Ukraine counts on continued support from France and President Macron personally in matters concerning Ukraine’s accession to the European Union.
