Volodymyr Zelenskyy
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, after meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, stated that they had discussed in detail all the global processes that could contribute to the end of Russia’s war against Ukraine.
The Turkish leader said this during a joint press conference with President Zelenskyy in Ankara.
"We exchanged views with President Erdoğan and discussed all the prospects that exist. I am convinced that for Ukraine and Europe, it is crucial that any negotiations about ending the war happen with the key stakeholders, who are affected by the consequences of Russian aggression, not behind their backs," Zelenskyy noted.
He emphasized that the US, European Union, Turkey, and the United Kingdom should be involved in discussions and the development of security guarantees.
"To ensure that the war ends with a reliable and lasting peace, no mistakes must be allowed," the Ukrainian leader stressed.
