If the war in Ukraine does not end in Russia's defeat, the world will stand on the brink of a new global conflict.
Having rallied rogue countries around itself, Russia will unleash the Third World War.
Such an opinion was expressed by Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Mykhailo Podolyak, in an interview with UNIAN.
"Russia will gather under its wing the maximum number of rogue countries and regimes, terrorist organizations. They will practically constantly initiate one conflict or another, which at one fine day will escalate into a massive war, the so-called Third World War," he predicted.
In the event of Russia's defeat, according to Podolyak, there will be a renewal of the vertical of power and political elites within the territory of the Russian Federation, and during this time, it will be possible to review the principles of relations between Europe and Russia.
"Europe will have a window of opportunity to clearly define borders, reformat its own military production, taking into account the experience of this war, restructure its armies, making the Ukrainian army, which has undergone the war, central. Then we will have a completely different framework," Podolyak noted.
The option of transforming Ukraine into a "buffer zone" between Russia and Western countries, recently proposed by Hungarian Prime Minister, Viktor Orban, was deemed unrealistic by the Advisor to the Head of the Presidential Office.
"Today it is obvious that no buffer zone is possible. If Russia does not lose, then Russia will attack various countries in Europe by one means or another. This is an undeniable future," Podolyak emphasized.
